Custom-made natural-finish nets for an oak mezzanine

This cathedral-ceilinged living room provides the perfect setting for a mezzanine home net. The renovation emphasized natural wood; the oak staircase and its railing echo the house’s original beams. The choice fell on a beige, wide-mesh polypropylene net that blends seamlessly and discreetly with the natural oak structure. 
The project also includes a set of 7 vertical nets to secure the staircase and mezzanine railings. These 50 mm beige knotted mesh nets are overlocked to reinforce their edges and are very easy to install in the wooden rails thanks to the stainless steel jumper shackle designed specifically for this purpose. Note that the knotted mesh allows for custom diagonal cuts, such as the diamond shapes on the staircase guardrails.
