Suspended net with 30 mm mesh in a spacious stairwell

This modern villa near Toulouse features a spacious stairwell with large fixed windows overlooking the surrounding countryside. Creating a new living space with a home net was the obvious solution to preserve the flow of natural light between floors while providing a relaxation area enjoyed by the whole family, especially the teenagers!
This horizontal net suspended in a modern stairwell becomes a living space in its own right, a favourite spot for chatting with friends or enjoying cosy evenings with a good book or watching a series.
The white 30 mm mesh blends perfectly with the home's soft colour palette. The white lacing shackles make installation and adjustment of the tension rope easier, while adding a nautical touch to this net tensioned with double lacing.
