A4 stainless steel 24 mm lacing shackle

A LOFTNETS solution designed to extend the lifespan of your net and its bolt rope, the A4 stainless steel lacing shackle is compatible with criss cross lacing. It acts as an intermediary between a net’s single bolt rope and tension rope, limiting the friction between these elements during installation.

The shackle is composed of a 24 mm high U and a removable Allen head pin that can be easily opened and closed using a hex or Allen key. Made with A4 stainless steel, this shackle can be used indoors and outdoors and requires no maintenance.

Home nets will loosen slightly over time. Using shackles makes it easier to retension your net thanks to the lack of friction between the tension rope and single bolt rope.

Compatible with the Ø 10 mm tension rope for criss cross lacing.

NB.

This lacing shackle is designed for nets with a single bolt rope finish. It can, however, also be used with a double bolt rope if you have opted for a 15 mm mesh net.

Installing lacing shackles:

We recommend placing shackles around the entire edge of your net’s bolt rope opposite the structure’s fasteners. This will ensure the lacing for your net is evenly spaced and an aesthetic finish.

The lacing shackle is an optional extra for criss cross lacing.

When you fill in the online form for your custom-made home net, the number of shackles required will be calculated automatically based on the size of the space to be filled. It will be the same as the number of fasteners for your project.

For a double bolt rope finish: LOFTNETS recommends the 33 mm lacing shackles for 20 mm, 30 mm and 45 mm meshes. For 15 mm mesh nets, however, 24 mm shackles are compatible with a double bolt rope.
