A4 stainless steel blocker eye plate

Modelled by our LOFTNETS engineers, our A4 stainless steel blocker eye plate was designed specifically to make installing nets easier thanks to its tension rope locking system for point-by-point lacing.

Inspired by the lacing techniques used on catamaran trampolines, point-by-point lacing enables nets to be connected directly to a fastener point via a 5 mm rope. This technique makes installation faster and easier, and enables excellent net retensioning (see our video tutorial on our YouTube channel and full details of point-by-point lacing in our installation guide).

Blocker eye plates are ideal for installing a horizontal home net on a wooden structure indoors or outdoors. The ultra-resistant A4 stainless steel composition makes them suitable for all weather conditions, including UV, frost and humidity. This means they can be used with nets in a variety of settings, including terraces, pool sides and Sunbeds.

The blocker eye plate features a closed eyelet to hold the tension rope in place when the net moves and is polished to prevent the rope fraying under tension.

Screw holes are 5 mm in diameter (blocker eye plate and screws available on our website) and compatible with our Ø 5x50 mm wood screws for an aesthetic finish.

Featuring the same diameter as our eye plates, the LOFTNETS blocker eye plate adds an aesthetic finish to your net, as well as added security and durability, and an easy-to-use locking system.

Installing blocker eye plates:

We recommend installing eye plates with a maximum spacing of 120 mm along your wooden structure to evenly spread the load and tension in your net.

Quick and easy to install, they require only a drill to attach the two screws per eye plate. Make sure, however, that eye plates are properly aligned along the edge with a maximum gap of 120 mm between them.

⚠ Blocker eye plates cannot be used in plaster partitions or walls or in non-structural material.
