Fasteners by type of structure

When designing your home net, it is important to think about the frame that will support your net. It is important to know what type of structure will be used to house your net, particularly so you know what type of fastening hardware you will need.

Types of home net structure

We recommend attaching your home net to the frame of your house. You can also attach your mezzanine net to poured or reinforced concrete without any risk. It is also possible to install a home net in a pre-existing wooden or metal structure.

If you have a brickwork frame, a construction specialist will be able to advise you on the best way to install your net in this type of structure. Home nets cannot, however, be attached to plasterboard. Plasterboard is simply not strong enough for this type of feature.

We work with a network of craftsmen who are familiar with our home nets and their specific features. In addition to the net, they will be able to help advise you on or install the frame, a key technical element in the overall structure. Simply get in touch with our LOFTNETS advisers and they will put you in contact with someone in your area.

The right fasteners for your supporting structure

On our website, you will find a large range of fasteners for different uses based on the material your frame is made from, how thick it is, and the finish you would like to achieve.

Some fasteners will create a marine look, while others boast technical characteristics that will make installation faster. The table below offers an overview of the various fasteners available for different frames:
