Description
An exceptional double Sunbed designed by LOFTNETS, French manufacturer of custom-made nets for catamarans.
LOFTNETS, renowned for its nautical expertise and commitment to quality, has created a high-end outdoor bed for sunbathing on your terrace, by the pool, or in the shade of a tree in your garden.
Experience the feeling of escape, suspended between sky and sea in your own garden, as if you were aboard a catamaran!
- A premium-quality Sunbed designed and manufactured in France, developed in collaboration with a Bordeaux-based carpenter passionate about designer furniture and built to last.
- African Padauk is an exotic wood selected for its exceptional durability and natural resistance to insects, fungi, and weather conditions. With an average density of 850 kg/m³, it is strong and stable, with minimal deformation caused by humidity.
- The net is crafted in our Bordeaux workshop using high-strength nautical-grade polyester mesh, featuring a selection of very comfortable flat-braided meshes (between 15 and 30 mm wide). The smaller the mesh is (15 mm), the more comfortable it will be. The 30 mm mesh provides greater transparency while maintaining excellent comfort when lying down.
- The major advantage of a netted Sunbed compared to a mattress or fabric hammock is that it’s a breathable material, ideal after swimming: a sensation of freshness and lightness.
- The net can be rinsed quickly with a water jet and dries very fast. Easy maintenance and excellent hygiene make this woven net Sunbed perfectly suited to the requirements of tourism professionals (hotels, private beaches, campsites, guesthouses).
- This double wooden Sunbed with a distinctive design is easy to assemble and disassemble thanks to its black lacquered metal connecting parts. The wood studs are pre-drilled to facilitate the installation of black A4 stainless steel pad eyes.
- The net is laced with a point by point lacing with 5 mm rope using a simple knot to tie. Our video instructions guarantee easy assembly of the complete Sunbed in about 1 hour.
- Surprised by the bright red color of Padauk? It naturally evolves into a silver-grey over time (natural patina). After about 15 days in the sun, the Sunbed will develop a brown tone that will gradually lighten over the months. If you wish to preserve its original color or prevent fading, you can apply a special oil for exotic wood (not included).
Customize your double Sunbed with a choice of three mesh widths and five elegant shades:
Marine 3S® braided polyester mesh :
- 15 mm (white or black): recommended for relaxation lovers, its very tight mesh increases comfort to the touch and offers a more reassuring look for those who prefer less transparency.
- 20 mm (grey): its grey color adds a design touch to your Sunbed, complementing the wood which will naturally turn grey after a few months outdoors. The 20 mm mesh provides excellent comfort both to the touch and when sitting or lying down.
- 30 mm (black, white or coffee): an excellent balance between transparency and comfort. The flat-braided mesh is very comfortable while giving your Sunbed a lighter visual style.
The Marine 3S® polyester used for the net is guaranteed high-tenacity, with very little stretching over time compared to standard polyester or polyamide. Thanks to a heat-setting process, the mesh withstands strong UV exposure, resists seawater, and provides excellent comfort.
30 mm beige polypropylene mesh:
For a more natural-style Sunbed, we offer a version featuring a net made of flat-braided beige polyamide mesh. This material has the advantage of being more matte than polyester mesh, creating a more natural aesthetic. It is equally resistant to outdoor conditions and offers excellent longevity.
As its resistance to stretching is slightly lower than Marine 3S® mesh, the net will relax a little more over time. It provides a softer comfort feel than Marine 3S® mesh. The lacing may need to be tightened again after a few months of use to adjust the tension to the desired comfort level.
The 30 mm flat-braided polypropylene mesh offers a high level of comfort for exceptional moments of relaxation.
