Vertical and horizontal custom-made nets for a crèche

LOFTNETS produced several custom-made nets for this crèche in Hungary. The goal was to create three children’s play areas in a braided mesh secured with the help of guardrail style nets. The LOFTNETS workshop produced nets with cut-outs so the nets could be accessed through net tunnels or wooden ladders. Point-by-point lacing with 5 mm precut strands is used to ensure the nets are pulled taut and close to the wooden frames. For the vertical nets, single lacing was used to fill these elevated spaces.
