A hammock floor in the library of a beautifully renovated farmhouse in Anjou

This former farmhouse on the banks of the Mayenne River has been completely renovated to welcome all generations of a family from Nantes. The younger family members have made the spacious hammock floortheir favourite hangout, overlooking the cosy library with its wide-open views of the Anjou countryside.
The combination of wood and metal framing on the staircase creates a beautiful contrast with the original stone walls. The home net with its black 30 mm mesh blends seamlessly into this carefully renovated interior, creating an original and highly sought-after space for relaxing and spending time together, while allowing natural light to filter through from the roof window.
The choice of a double boltrope made from 8 mm rope provides additional durability for this frequently used net.
