The aim of this project was to create an indoor suspended space combining sobriety, safety and contemporary design, by installing a living net on a mezzanine floor.
The chosen solution was an interior net with 30 mm mesh, in a deep black color. This color lends a modern, elegant look to the whole, while maintaining a high level of comfort and safety.
The net was secured using eye plates, screwed securely into the existing structure for the wood section, and 10x40 mm eyebolts for the metal section. This type of anchoring provides optimum stability, even under regular stress, and ensures discreet, long-lasting installation.
Lacing was carried out in a double-cross pattern, using 10 mm Ø black tensioning rope. This method ensures uniform tensioning around the entire perimeter of the net, while reinforcing the sturdiness of the installation and emphasizing the graphic character of the whole.
This project is a perfect example of how a house net can become a structuring and aesthetic element in an interior, while providing an original and secure design solution.
