The aim of this project was to optimize a limited interior volume by integrating a suspended platform, conceived as a functional, safe and aesthetically sober space. The project took the form of a tiny house, with the installation of a black horizontal net covering a surface area of 4.7 m².
The model chosen is a 15 mm black braided mesh net. This choice reinforces the area's cocoon-like feel, while harmonizing with the minimalist ambience of the habitat.
Anchoring was achieved using black A4 stainless steel bridges, securely screwed to the existing wooden structure. This system ensures a reliable hold, even in frequent use, and is visually integrated with discretion.
The net is tensioned by a 10 mm-diameter black rope using a criss cross lacing technique. This process distributes tension evenly around the perimeter of the net, guaranteeing both stability and a meticulous finish.
With this installation, the net becomes a central element of the space: it combines practicality and originality, while enhancing the interior volume of the tiny house. It's a clever solution that combines safety, visual lightness and intelligent design.
