In addition to our braided and knotted home nets, LOFTNETS also makes technical canvases for an original take on the traditional mesh.
Our technical canvases are a combination of PVC and mesh that form an ultra-resistant canvas. This PVC coated polyester fibre canvas is used on many cruising catamarans and can also be used for a home net to make the most of its stretch resistance and solidity.
Technical canvas, a highly resistant material
LOFTNETS uses this material for projects with high technical constraints such as public-access buildings as it offers excellent durability and good fire-resistance (M1). Not only is it ultra resistant, but it has a longer lifespan than our other materials. This material is designed to resist extreme temperatures from -20°C to +70°C.
Although it can be used for the same purposes as a custom-made knotted or braided mesh, our technical canvas is better adapted to outdoor uses like sunbeds thanks to its incredible resistance to the weather.
It can also be installed indoors alongside a mezzanine to give your spaces a very modern and designer feel. The comfortable, tight mesh is slightly more opaque than a Marine 3S® net.
