LOFTNETS’s eco-friendly initiatives
Since it was founded, LOFTNETS has always taken environmental matters very seriously and the business soon implemented measures to limit its carbon footprint.
- When cut-outs are made from nets, these are optimized to limit the amount of waste fabric;
- More recently, the LOFTNETS teams decided to internalize its logistics processes to ensure complete control over its shipping activities and limit its carbon impact.
- Waste has always been sorted for recycling in our offices and manufacturing workshop;
LOFTNETS is committed to offering customers complete transparency. Despite our daily efforts to minimize our environmental impact during the manufacture of catamaran trampolines and home nets, net offcuts after custom cutting remain a problem. They cannot be recycled in the industrial circuit.
As a growing business, the number of offcuts from production eventually became too important an issue for us. We realized we urgently needed to come up with a new initiative and the solution to create upcycled bags was chosen in 2021.

The LOFTNETS team designed a net mesh bag made with fabric offcuts from the production of non-standard shaped nets at our Bordeaux workshop. At LOFTNETS, we don’t just recycle, we upcycle!
