The guarantee of home nets and catamaran trampolines that offer maximum safety
With the goal of transparency, innovation and the desire to recognize its original expertise, LOFTNETS has implemented its own product approval process. Although we receive a huge number of positive reviews from customers regarding their experience with LOFTNETS nets and the levels of comfort, durability and security they offer, our teams felt it essential to implement a process dedicated to ensuring maximum safety.
In the absence of an official regulatory framework for catamaran trampolines and home nets, LOFTNETS developed over several months its own new technical assessment process with the assistance of an independent certified body. This has helped establish a series of rigorous assessments, particularly for trial campaigns. Technical components, materials, manufacturing processes, and installation methods have all been assessed by an accredited business to approve the overall solution offered by our home nets.

The products (nets, technical canvases, fastenings, ropes), construction template and installation manual for our home nets were all approved by an inspection body in 2020. This official approval of the entire system makes LOFTNETS the only company on the market capable of guaranteeing irreproachable quality and maximum security for its home nets and catamaran trampolines.
This means only LOFTNETS customers have access to a high-quality, 100% reliable products whose safe working load has been tested and approved.
Our home nets’ safe working load per m² is set at:
- 120 kg/m² for nets under 8 m²
or - 1,000 kg max (1 ton) for the net’s total surface area for nets over 8 m²
LOFTNETS’s ultra-resistant Marine 3S® mesh
To ensure even greater comfort and security for our customers, in 2021 LOFTNETS launched its Marine 3S® mesh, an ultra-resistant polyester made according to a strict set of specifications related to product lifespan and resistance.
→ "Marine" refers to its impressive resistance to wind, sun and salt
→ "3S" to the three Ss: Strong, Soft and Sunproof
This new polyester offers several advantages:
- it has a lower stretch factor than standard polyester, meaning it stretches very little during use;
- it is highly resistant and reacts well to abrasion;
- thanks to a special heat-setting process, it can tolerate high UV exposure and is resistant to seawater;
- Marine 3S® mesh remains flexible and dries quickly, essential characteristics for ensuring comfort in outdoor uses.
This new polyester combines comfort and resistance and guarantees a long lifespan.
Through the ultra-resistant materials used for our home nets, initially designed for sailing activities, we are able to ensure 100% safe use of your home net.
Our net installation manual approved by the same inspection body (sent by email once your order is confirmed) will guide you through every step in safely setting up your home net.
