Ropes and lacing

Specializing in catamaran trampolines for 20 years, LOFTNETS offers a wide range of tensioning ropes. We recommend two effective and reliable ways for tensioning your nets: point-by-point and criss cross lacing.

Suitable for indoor and outdoor use, as well as horizontal and vertical nets, there are two sizes of rope that can be easily adapted to the result you want to obtain.

Ropes from the sailing world

Tension ropes can be used to tighten your nets, once attached to your frame using fasteners. Made from ultra-resistant 8- or 16-strand polyester with a low stretch factor and UV-light treatment, our tension ropes offer a long life, even in extreme conditions, such as cold weather and storms, making them ideal for outdoor use.

Our tension ropes are available in several colors and diameters:

  • Ø 5 mm: white, black, grey, beige
  • Ø 10 mm: white, black, navy blue, grey, beige, red, green, fuchsia

The rope diameter determines the type of lacing.

Lacing for home nets

LOFTNETS recommends two effective and reliable ways for tensioning your horizontal nets: point-by-point lacing and criss cross lacing.

Point-by-point lacing (Ø 5 mm)

Identical to catamaran net lacing, point-by-point lacing offers a higher tension factor, for a maximum security as well. The net will be closer to the frame than with a criss cross lacing, but depending on the size of your net, however, it could take longer to retighten.

To learn more about retightening nets, please see our specially dedicated article.

Criss cross lacing (Ø 10 mm)

Criss cross lacing offers the same level of security as point-by-point lacing. It is aesthetically pleasing with its attractive criss-cross effect. It fills in more void.

With our detailed installation manual, it is easy to set up and tension your home net. You can even do it alone, although we recommend working as a pair for extra ease.
